I recently completed a PhD in philosophy at Brown University. My dissertation is at the intersection of metaethics and epistemology; it concerns what we can learn about the nature of value from some interesting features of evaluative epistemology. My other academic interests include freedom and responsibility, philosophical psychology, and all kinds of first-order normative questions. (For instance: When two pedestrians are on course for a collision, under what circumstances and to what degree is each obliged to get out of the other's way? It seems to me that most sidewalks are rife with injustice.)
